We invite you to listen to the story of the Zionist Jewish youth movement that encouraged Abe Yarden (Nissim Nati’s grandfather!), to join the Irgun. You will hear the previously untold story from the Irgun fighter himself, influenced by Ze’ev Jabotinsky, Menachem Begin, and Ben Zion Netanyahu. You will be reminded of the vision of Theodor Herzl, the contributions of the Rothschilds, and the ensuing creation of the Nili (Jewish espionage network). This true story account of the fight for Jerusalem includes the rescue of prisoners from Acre and the famous “Altalena Affair” in 1948 that threatened the new nation of Israel’s survival.
Yarden’s narrative will be amplified by photos, illustrations, music, and the patriotic songs of the Irgun sung with his grandson, Nissim Nati. You don’t want to miss this event.
