KM MEN’S & WOMEN’S CLUB PRESENTS:
A movie screening of the film AIRPLANE! with an in-person introduction by DAVID ZUCKER, a producer on the film and author of the book
SURELY YOU CAN’T BE SERIOUS, an in-depth hysterical look at making of the movie Airplane! the movie premiered on July 2, 1980 and has influenced a multitude of comedians on both sides of the camera. Four decades after its release, Airplane! continues to make new generations laugh. Its many one-liners and visual gags have worked their way into the mainstream culture.
Surely You Can’t Be Serious is the first-ever oral history of the making of Airplane! by the creators (Zucker, Abrahams, Zucker) – charting the rise of the comedy troupe.
