Choir

We are an enthusiastic, warm, and friendly group of singers who meet for weekly rehearsals on Tuesdays at 7:15 till 8:45. Our songs are a combination of traditional and contemporary musical pieces with Jewish themes. Our goal is to maintain an old repertoire as well as learn new songs to make it exciting and challenging. We take part in the KM Shabbat services, go out into to the community with different holiday programs, and occasionally plan “field trips” to LA Opera.

In 2016, we started the students choir – the Half Notes. These wonderful kids put in the time and effort after their classes to learn and get ready to participate in several services, including Shavuot, Purim and the High Holy Days.

Being part of the choir gives every member an opportunity to sing in the group, have solo performances, and challenge themselves to learn something new. It is an excellent hobby!
