The Cantor's Voice June 2008 
Our religious school is gearing up for an exciting program on Sunday, June 1. Throughout the year, students have been studying Hebrew language, Jewish lifecycle and holidays, and Biblical text. On June 1, our students are presenting a three-tier program, demonstrating learning that they've experienced this year in class.
Our students in grades 2-7 will be enacting several Hebrew-language role playing scenarios, using vocabulary and conversational skills learned this year; displaying a Biblical Prophets museum, complete with artistic models of the prophets studied during the year; and finally, our students will be conducting a Jewish wedding, demonstrating knowledge of this most beautiful and wonderful of Jewish lifecycle events. The entire congregation is invited to attend on Sunday, June 1, beginning at 10am. Come and share in the fun and learning of our religious school. Keith Miller Hazzan Director of Education |
