The Cantor's Voice January 2007 
It was with tremendous joy this past December that I presented to you my first CD, entitled, "Ashrei."
This project represents the cumulative efforts of many, many months of preparation and hard work. Along with my fabulous arranger, Chris Hardin, and graphic artist, Emily Rich Camras, I worked to create a Jewish music experience that reflects both tradition and modernity, along with a great deal of my own personal musical touch. 
The feedback on this CD has been tremendously positive, and I wish to thank you for your kindness and encouragement. This project was primarily supported by members of our Kehillat Ma'arav community, and for that I am grateful and humbled. Alan and Halina Alter, Edith Ballonoff, Jackie Kosecoff and Robert Brook, Beth and Josh Friedman, Marsha and Phillip Furst, Marian and Charley Goldsmith, Jill and Rabbi Michael Gotlieb, Kathy and Dennis Gura, Sharon and Leon Janks, Helayne and Joseph Levy, Carole and Sid Meltzner, Diane and Ovvie Miller (my parents!), Tammy Steinsapir, and Judy and Lou Zucker all made generous financial donations to help make this project viable. Thank you all. I am delighted to say that the project came in below budget. All additional funds raised (after expenses), as well as monies that are now coming in to both purchase additional CDs and other donations of support will be turned over, entirely, to our community's general fund. We will publish the names of continuing contributors to the project in our newsletter in subsequent issues. Music from the CD is also now available online.
