Kehillat Ma’arav (KM) is a Conservative congregation serving Santa Monica, the Westside and beyond. KM is a caring, involved community that provides the religious, spiritual, educational, and social needs of our diverse membership. From Kabbalat Shabbat services on the first Friday of every month to weekly Shabbat mornings with our Bimah in the round, our community will envelope you in its warmth. Led by Rabbi Michael Gotlieb, Hazzan Samuel Cohen and Executive Director Kathie Rose, KM serves our community with compassion, intelligence, wit, and understanding.

Song of the Season: Yismechu

It’s arrived!  SONG OF THE SEASON!  This is a new project where we will be adding new melodies to the Shabbat Morning Service.  The first installment of the song of the season is here“Yismechu.”  Yismechu comes from the word Sameach (joy, happy), so come sing a long and lets all be Yismechu!  Please listen to the song and get to know the melody, as we will be debuting the song on Shabbat morning, May 11th - in a very special way and your participation will enhance the beauty of the Shabbat Morning Service. A big thank you to Dov Rosenblatt, our Religious School Teacher, for the musical accompaniment. Enjoy and thanks so much, Cantor Samuel Cohen
